I was driving along this '2 lane converted into 1 lane'(due to left lane always illegally parked by cars) road Punggol Field 2 days ago.
Suddenly one of the parked car just came out of it's 'illegal lot', and I was shocked why he didnt even bother to check for oncoming cars.
I called traffic police hotline becos i think this illegal parkers really too much.
But to my surprise, noone pick up. I tot suppose to be hotline?
End up I dial 999 and inform the police. Told them traffic police line noone answer.
I think from now on, I'll just dial 999. easier also. 3 numbers only.

hey..think there r some crazy drivers in PG who simply dun check for oncoming traffic..I oso have similar experience like this when the driver is coming out from blk166 carpark exit..luckily i manage to apply emergency brake or else i cannot imagine wat will happen next..Low traffic flow doesn't mean NO traffic.. Teletubbies....Teletubbies....say hello...oh oh

They could try to roll over the thiefs instead of trying to outrun them.  Grin

stop suggesting stuff that might dirty our area ... worse still, if the thieves are fat, there might be a oil spills ... Smiley

Can LTA do something? The drivers are so stupid to park along the LRT station which is just outside PP carpark exit. Will drawing of double zig zag lines help?

As suggested much earlier. A camera overlooking the junction will do the trick. Cheers.

Dun think they would want to get involve ... the implications and following-on tasks are pretty mammoth ...
