I knew my own case in overseas when we looked for apartment to rent. The agent brought us to see apartments. We viewed with my eldest daughter at that time she was 3 yrs old. Hi Taiwan, its always better to "cleanse" your house before moving in, be it new or old, cos "someone' maybe living there. I have been in the construction industry long enough to understand such strange happening. Workers get killed during the construction stage and its worst if he died in an horrible way. There has been many reporting by other workers that they hear strange angry sound each time they passed by the accident spot. Prayers and offering are usually placed in this spot to please the soul.

When i first move into my block, we are the first family. The other blocks surrounding are still in construction. There is even a construction hostel in front of our block.

I am mostly alone since my spouse work late. Hee hee ...

In my belief, spirits exists when human have fear for them. That is their only tool. They cannot harm us, but only to create fear. Have you wonder why there are many tales surrounding ghost festival while there is none in non-belief country? And why there are tales surrounding Friday 13th while there is none here? It is all due to human's mind creating these.
