All about Punggol Topaz : so far the largest Standard Contract in Punggol

Punggol Topaz is bounded by Punggol Way and Punggol Field next to Soo Teck LRT ( looks dirty, deserted and abandoned ). Acrossed Punggol Way, directly opposite stands Punggol Emerald.

It is by far the biggest Standard Contract offering a total of 1010 flats, comprising 184 units of 3 room, 542 units of 4 room and 284 units of 5 room designs.

The development includes an eatery, a supermarket, shops, child care centre and a RC Centre.

Selling Prices :

A 3 room flat cost between $166,000 to $207,000
A 4 room flat cost between $267,000 to $329,000
A 5 room flat cost between $335,000 to $406,000

The site was originally forested. Later it was cleared and transformed into a flat muddy piece of land when it rains. Finally grass was planted and it looks like a football field. It remains untouched for a couple of months.

Surprisingly, few weeks ago, it was buzzed with activities. Heavy building machines started to move in, temporary sheds and offices were built and finally this is what it looks like.

After 4 months, bird-eye view of Topaz shows different Blocks are at different levels of progress. One plot is still at Foundation stage, others at first level, the highest at level 2.

One overhead tower crane is under installation by the 250 ton mobile crane. At the time of picture, the crane was picking up concrete counter weight blocks for installation at the tail end of the boom.
