The Nautilus @ Punggol  is a Standard Contract with 519 HDB Flats. There are 413 four room flats and 106 five room flats.

The site is at the junction of Punggol East and Punggol Field. Next to it is the Punggol Plaza. In front is the Punggol Community Club under construction.

4 room flat with 92 to 93 sqm cost $228,000 to $274,000
5 room flat with 112 to 113 sqm cost $305,000 to $357,000

Work in progress pictures :

At the moment, reinforced concrete piling work is in progress, near to the LRT tracks. Weight testing on completed piling work is in progress nearer to Punggol Plaza.

Constructional progress after 30 days is tremendous. The two blocks nearer to Punggol Plaza, piling completed, reinforce concrete footings done, ground level reinforce concrete floor slabs laid, workers are now busy frabricating steel bars for columns. Working towards first floor.

Some are putting up formworks on columns preparing for concreting, others are busy erecting scaffolds. Looks like on the average, it took one month to complete a floor.

On the mid section just behind the " Punggol 21 CC project " excavators are busy working on the ground.

At the worksite entrance, load testing on completed piling system are underway. Piling is still progressing nearby.

Blocks in the Nautilus are using " cast-in-place " piles. It does'nt produce much noise, thats the reason though piling work is in progress at site, residents hardly hear any piling noise.

" Precast piles " are piles that are cast elsewhere and transported to site.

" Cast-in-place " piles are piles that are cast at site. Picture shows " bored piling machine at work. ( pictures 1679 and 1683 )

After concreting was done for the " cast-in-place " piles, another picture ( 1680 ) shows how loading test for the piles are carried out.

One month later, the progress at site is tremendous.

One month earlier, both blocks 168C and 168D are only at foundation/ground level. At that time work were concentrated at levelling the ground, hardcore, steel fabrication, putting up formworks and concreting at different stages as work progresses.

Today, block 168C, is at level two. Some precast floor slabs are in placed, the remaining will be gradually fixed. No workers are seen on the slabs because of lunch breaks.

Earlier on, the tower crane was actively lifting up precast units for installation.
