Have you read today's paper ?

Treelodge@Punggol will be more than HDB's first Eco-precint. It will be " Top of the tree " feeling. It was mentioned that out of the 712 units, 14 are 5 room Loft Apartments on top of the 7 blocks completing soon.

Loft Apartments are comparable to Private Penhouses. The only difference is one is private, the other public. Penhouses are on top of luxurous condominiums, Loft Apartments are on top of HDB flats.

Before construction the 5 room flat cost $383,000. Upon completion and if those units are facing the Punggol Waterway and within view, prices will surely escalate.

Similar top floor units in bishan are selling close to a million.  Smiley So living near to a place of worship really gives you good luck. HDB said, " some unsold units will be up for sale upon completion.

Last month, when pictures were taken, the site still looked messy. Trucks delivering materials, workers were still busy working.

Today, the site looks more completed. Blocks besides the temple were painted and decorative wooden structures to provide shades / shelter were also almost done up.

Those blocks along the LRT tracks, also facing the Waterways, painting was in progress. At this stage, the interiors, the floor coverings, toilet and accessories should be done in tandem.

Decorative structures / garden at ground level, fronting the building along the LRT tracks are progressing smoothly.

Last night I saw all the stairway lights switched on.

Very romantic

That first block is done,  and ready for occupation (I was told).

Congratulations

The rest of the front row blocks are also completing.
by end June 2010.
