Waterway Terraces :

Waterway Terraces faces part of the waterway between Punggol Way and Punggol Walk.

So far the most spectacular view of the stretch of waterway is still the view opposite Sentul Cresent. ( personal observation )

Waterway Terraces offer the following :

178 units of 3 room flats 65  sq.m. costing between $186,000 to $237,000
588 units of 4 room flats 90  sq.m. costing between $300,000 to $376,000
306 units of 5 room flats 110 sq.m. costing between $374,000 to $458,000

The nearest LRT is Sumang station.

Accordine to media reports,  "Waterway Terraces" was oversubscribed by up to 12 times.

The Waterway stretches from Punggol River to Serangoon River. It's length is about five kilometres.

Lets take a look and see what views can we expect from the first housing project.

On the right hand side of " Waterway Terrace " is Punggol Walk. A new bridge had been constructed ( now open to traffic ) over the Waterway. It links Punggol Walk across the waterways to Sentul Crescent.

There is not much to see from the lower levels of the " Waterway Terrace ". Those opting for the higher levels, the higher the better,  may be able to enjoy a better view opposite Sentul Crescent.

Estimated date of completion is March 2015, exactly 4 years 2 months from today.

The whole housing project as per constructional progress / schedule  of other BTO projects in Punggol takes an average of 24 to 30 months.

From personal estimates and looking at the condition of the site, work on Waterway Terraces will only start once the waterway in front is in an advance stage of completion.

As of now, the whole waterway terrace site is occupied by contractors who are working on the main waterway.

There are stores of all sorts, trucks moving in and out, the place was buzzing with activities,  working very hard on the construction of the waterway, probably chasing after schedule.

Take a look at what's inside.......

The design of the waterway below the bridge looks quite impressive in comparision to the whole stretch along Oasis and Damai LRT Stations.
