Not all floors are with precast slabs. Depending on design requirements, certain floors are with cast-on-site concrete.

Normally cast-on-site concrete are supplied by mobile concrete mixers. Pumping of concrete to floor levels that needs concreting are by mobile concrete pump trucks.

Concrete are measured in cubic metres. A normal floor the size as shown only took half a day to complete.

Concrete that are pumped onto floor slabs need to be spread with a trowel. All airbubbles in the concrete need to be removed with a portable vibrator.

Before concreting, all conduit pipings below floor level has to be laid.

First a bird-eye view of the whole construction site taken from Sengkang High Rise. Block 213A is the last Block to be constructed, so naturally it may not be able to catch up with the rest of the Blocks in Waves.

Nonetheless, for the last several weeks, the speed of constructional progress for Block 213A is quite good.

Todate Block 213A is at level 5. All prefab components for this level had been installed.

Based on speed of construction at three floors within two months, by March Block 213A should climb another one and a half level.

At the moment the 6th level flooring had been done with at least 50% of prefab panels in placed.
