Those blocks of flats that are repainted only several months back are getting blacken stains also...Blocks starting with 18+ .....several blocks of them. Those stains are probably coming from the corrosions of the water tank or metal railing surrounding the water tanks. Huh?

The worst are stains on top of the carpark eaves ( blks 18+...). Those stains might have generated from the roof-top gardens, either from mud/sand or manure / fertilisers.

Lets hope the authorities will look into the problem of corrosion or bad design and improve on those conditions.  Roll Eyes

For 180+, paint is actually secondary. You should see the cracks on the walls and sometimes entire pieces of wall casts can be found on the floor. Imagine you were walking past and the wall casts fell on you... It has already happened several times...

"We would like to inform you that the repairs and redecoration (R&R) programme for Blks 126A/B/C/D, 128A/B/C/D and 130-138 Edgedale Plains/Punggol Field Walk, originally scheduled for end 2007, has been re-scheduled for calling of tenders in 3rd quarter of 2008 in order to incorporate some features of the first R&R programme currently being carried out in Punggol Town at Blks 106A/B/C/D, 107A/B/C/D, 109A/B/C/D, 110A/B/C/D and 111-118 Edgefield Plains/Punggol Field/Edgedale Plains into the tender.  We also recently understand from HDB that it will be calling tenders for R&R programme for its multi-storey car parks at Blks 126 and 128 Edgedale Plains/Punggol Field Walk in the 2nd quarter of 2009. "

well, you are the one staying in those horrible looking blocks. those mold are a health hazard.

third quarter 08 ? lol. those blocks need to be fixed immediately.
