I guess it is time for everyone to help to stop these illegal parking OUTSIDE Punggol Plaza...
For the benefit of the old folks, children and easing the traffic along Punggol Field...
Two suggestions on what can be done to solve this issue:-

1. Take pictures of the illegal parked cars outside Punggol Plaza with MOBILE PHONES and email the traffic police. Remember to ZOOM IN for the number plates!
I have sent..waiting for reply..

2. Call them to come and see for themselves whenever we spotted illegal parking there..(Traffic Police Hotline: 1800 5471818)
TOLL FREE!! ..well.. we paid tax don't we??
Things are really getting out of hand.. nothing done yet...

Since the authority are too busy, it's time that we should alert them rather than waiting for some poor fellows get run over and then things are improved..... too late by then...

Or maybe.. we shld ask these 2 heroes to help....

Don't bother to complain to the TP. I've write in to the TP several times and their reply was very standard, "We will sent our men to enforce the traffic there, don't worry".
I've even write to our dear MP, Ms Penny Low and what she can do is forward my mail to the TP and the same person reply using the same stardard template.  head banging
Those vehicle not only cause danger to the pedestrain but also to drivers using that road. We can only rely on ourself to be move careful while crossing or drving along that road. Prey hard.

i saw police came by punggol plaza. they will sound their siren, and the drivers will come out of punggol plaza and drive away.. the entire stretch actually gets cleared... then the police drive off.. within 30 seconds after police left, the cars make 1 round liao, come back, park along the road again.

the siren is very loud, a bit irritating.. anyway, the police have not done this for a long time already. now, the cars parked there get booked.. i think other people mentioned its $70. it takes some time for everyone in Punggol to get fined $70 before the stretch becomes clear.

I really do think is OK if those vehicles parking along that road is not obstructing too much of the traffic... is not a very pleasant thing to get fine for illegal parking only a short while for convenience sake... i believe ALL DRIVERS have one way or another illegal park before, we do cross our fingers that we wont get fine when we do that, truly because sometimes we really dont have a choice... drivers face a lot of stress here, traffic jam, ERP, no parking lots, fines...
I stayed at the block facing meetoh sch, and there are many cars that park in our car park season parking lot during 630pm to pick up their kids, and i usually couldnt get any lot  when i got home that time. (thats where i usually park) so i move to another level instead...
i think i have all the right to report and complain but i really dont think is necessary...
i am not saying that i am any saint, but I honestly think people do need grace and understanding...
I heard that there are even people complaining about cars illegal park along the road outside the church which i  really  dont see how it is causing incoveniences  or obstruction in anyway to those people who did the complaint because that road was not even a busy road.
