OK let me help compile a list for stores in kuofu(PP)
anyone with anything else please just add on

Good stores

Vegetarian Food (cheap)
Prata
kopi
zhi cha ( sambal fried rice n salted fish fried ricen fish head curry)

Unsatisfactory stores

Cai Chee minced meat noodles(attitude problem; food not nice)
Mixed veg rice (inconsistant amount)
Western Food (mediocre)

I totally agree.... I can't speak Mandarin and I get really rude glances and probably uncalled for remarks which I don't understand from some of the food sellers there. And yes, boycotting the Chai Chee minced meat stall may be the way to go. That woman is has chronic PMS.

I like the prawn noodle stall and waton mee/chicken rice stall at Koufu.

- The prawn noodle soup has real prawn taste, and they give quite a lot of noodles. The portion of prawn and meat is ok for a $3 portion.
- I love the char siew at the wantoon mee stall, it's the hong kong style brown char siew, just the right amount of fat ( I dun like too much fatty meat), quite a nice bbq taste. I always order their shui jiao mian and add char siew because the noodle portion quite small lah Tongue. The wanton and shui jiao has the same fillings, just that wanton is much smaller. Never tried their chicken rice, so can't comment.
- Very disappointed with the Malay stall. The current stall owner is the 3rd owner I think. When they 1st took over the stall, I was quite happy with the longtong quality, but tried it again 2 weeks ago, n they have diluted the longtong soup until it's watery and of a pale yellow colour, no lemak taste at all. I also miss the carrot and yam kuehs sold by the 1st generation owner *sigh*

Hi... Actually the food that can make it is Chi Cha, Malay prata & Porridge... not bad la. Jln Kayu food is a bit too ex if you eat too often....

But always eating at Punggol Plaza is quite boring Cry

No choice... Maybe drivers can go to Kovan for some hawker food, coffee shops food.... There's quite a number of stores over there.
