The so called " Community gardens are blooming in many parts of Punggol North ".
According to National Parks there are nearly 400 gardening groups in Singapore and more are in the process of forming.
National Parks hope to promote a gardening culture among Singaporeans by grouping people from diverse backgrounds to come forward to share experiences and tips on gardening.
Wait : Lets take a look at what is happening.
First the residents fenced up a small plot of land for gardening.
Next, soil are cultivated and seeds are planted. ….. of course,
plants starts to grow. Finally what happened ? The whole place looks like a 1960 kampong.
Are we heading for that direction ? Can you imagine a " community Garden " suddening appear near to our " waterway resort " ?
