Now that you mention....let me share a personal encounter. No Joke.
Me and my old uni mate ( he's staying at 16+) were going up to the 19th Floor to test out his newly bought binoculars on a starry night bout a month back....
We arrived on 19th floor and when the door opened we heard a very loud cranking sound. Suspected house breaking in progress? I took out my handphone for stand by to call 999. We did a quick survey but saw nothing amiss and no one around, well maybe someone drop some heavy box or something in their house near the main door?
Well...what really got my heart pumping....
--The lift door was still open and usually if it stays open for too long there will be a loud shrill. But this time it was open for about 2 mins and stayed quiet. We thought nothing of it until we realized " HOW COME THE SCREEN ABOVE THE LIFT DOOR SHOWED 20TH Floor ??!
We felt uneasy and my friend hurried me to go via the stairs back to his unit.
He later said :" Muthu, why is it that you were so calm just now? Not scared of anything eerie? Must be your Kek Leng Kia blood that cause you to be brave..." I replied:" this KLK friend of yours look calm only on the outside...lol Actually almost peed in my pants !
Believe or not..its my personal encounter just last month.
