we need foreign talent, foreign workers, etc....etc..... Yes we do need, but did you guys ever wonder how many do we actually need? All countries in the whole world also have and need foreign talent, workers....But the issue here is about controlling the numbers and give space and opportunity for locals, and you often hear about other country protecting their own citizens, like malaysia for example, but where is ours? Only recently the rules for permanent resident are changed, and even though it was changed, the difference is still insignificant.

Our small red dot had been influx by so many foreigners that nowadays every few ppl you meet or walk past is a foreigners, and you don't even know what culture or background they come from, and that is indeed scary.....and imagine what will happened to your children generation in about 10years time? Can't imagine or even think about it.

Our Singaporean identity and culture are slowly changing and we have slowly losing things that we used to be familiar with....

even it is so easy getting PR status or so called Landed PR in this country. Last time, foreigners without work permit can't even find a job. Now, they can buy $2500 Landed PR to find a job in 6 mths.

Even buy a marriage certificate for $1000 also can reported in Fri ST, especially PRC women. They can even set up palour massage shops in Chinatown area. Wonder how they can obtain their PR status so easily.

what is the term STUDY MAMA refers to? Are they allowed to work meh? Are their long-term visas are included working visas as well?

When I was in sec sch, I'd many foreign student friends mainly from Indonesia. Their mothers are only given long-term stay green card and not allowed to work. Those Indonesians tai-tai where got want to work in SIN.
