You are right....many people don't like this guy...wonder why after many years decide to give idea...it's the people's money we are talking here...if he is making more money by using the people's money for investment then the interest rate in cpf should be raised..people have the right to have their money back...if he wants the 20% contributed by employer then so be it but return the other half of the portion to the people hard earn money...

...I think the citizen should be given a choice, either to maintain the money with CPF or to put it in the bank. The onus is on us how to spend the money and how much to put a side for raining days. One can have $99000 in CPF, but has to struggle everyday taking porridge and bread till 65 before he could smell the hard cash.  ........Who would want to employ someone at 60+ with slight disability and illnesses.
