Another scenario: Family B

Husband take-home pay $8000
Wife                            $0

No. of dependants: 2 children, 2 parents, 2 parents-in-law

Things to consider:
1. Most of our parents are in 60s I presume. Strokes are very common with the eldery. Medical expenses for stroke patients are very high......

2. If wife B has only 1 sister, and the sister also SAHM, own parents how?

3. No doubt economy has increase, somehow, it may go down then recession, currency depreciation, out-of-job.

4. If wife B has 1 brother, however, his wife is a SAHM, then how?

May be I'm worrying to much. Any advise?

Try looking for something that you can work from home.
That should help to bring in some income.
My friend's wife also a SAHM.
She did translation & editing of books for company while staying home to look after 5 kids.
Really admire her for it.

Home based job is not easy to find unless the nature of your job is sedentry, such as editing / translation / writing etc.  If your job requires you to co-ordinate with many departments, then it will be tough.  Or if your job requires you to deal with highly confidential materials, many bosses would not allow you to work from home.  Other types of home based jobs are rather boring and mechanical e.g. folding paper bags and these don't bring in much income.
