I'd already suspected. Once government subsidy increased to $300. I don't believe the child or infant-care operators will let parents to pay so cheap.

I heard NTUC child-care, if the parents are the staff of civil servants, they have to pay something like $275/pm. Now with additional $150 reduction, parents will pay only $125/pm.

How can those child-care operators let parents have the impression of such a 'cheap' skate service? Definitely these business-minded operators will increase the price soon. May be Jan'09.

Instead of helping, things are worst.

Gosh, so it's really happening...  no wonder they never reply me to my questions when I sent once they announce about the subsidies... If end up we have to pay more then die liao...  head banging also no use!

Parents too old to take care of baby, having maid seems worrying ... infant care too expensive ... job market getting scary … ... waa … not a very good time man!  mad
