My child is in the school now. Hear that this year enrollment is rather high and many of them are reserved for their siblings. You can try the 2nd school at 17th Ave. Both schools are well known of their programme. 24th Ave are well known of the experience teachers and principal and as for 17th Ave more on the space. I pick her up everyday from school. During School hour, I have seem the children enjoying school and the lesson are well spead across school hour. Only during dismissal, the school is crowded with both session coming in and going off. Dayspring Kindergarten are register MOE school. I think the school is doing good in term of education.

My son is starting school with Dayspring on 6th Jan 2011. Am afraid that my boy will have serious separation anxiety because he had such problem when i sent him for a full day childcare centre last June. His condition was so serious that we have to withdraw him from the childcare. But this time round, i tell myself that no matter what i will not give in to him. Anyone can provide me some tips to resolve separation anxiety problem?

i think share with your son what to expect,
example:
1. which day (five days from now), and what time you are bringing him to school, eg, after breakfast?
2. ask if there are things he wants to bring with him
3. bring him to look at the school before starting school
4. introduce him to the teachers
5. let him know what he will be doing at the school
6. tell him how long he will be there
7. tell him what time you will fetch him back home, eg. before lunch?
8. show him the uniform he will be wearing
9. discuss why you are sending him to school
10. ask him what he think of the plan
