Hi PP,
My boy is with Fernvale Primary, P2.
What information do you need? I hope I can help.
This school is only 3yrs old, nothing much about academic performance to shout about so far.
However, teachers & principal are committed & they make every effort to communicate with parents.
One regular activity is the ballpark program organised by the PSG; done on a monthly basis.
Activities include parents' workshops, soccer or tennis games coached by parent volunteers.
I believed this is a good channel of communication between parents & teachers as they gather regularly to share their thoughts. (but not all parents attend though)

P1s will have their SA1 but one point to note for
English, P1s & P2s will have to complete a mini project.
They will do away with Paper 1 & 2 for SA1 & to replace that, students will be given a topic to work on. Teachers will guide them through, not difficult, just a booklet with some Q & A & drawing or making of a puppet etc...
Students will need to present their materials & they will be graded on their presentation skills. This totals up their SA1 for English on top of the regular oral, spelling & listening compre grades.
For P2s this year, they were given English Paper 2 but its not graded, only for diagnostic purpose.
Bottomline, parents need to have faith & patience in new schools...it takes time & effort to build up a
reputation.
